MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. The Turkish side will investigate the emergency with the Russian Superjet at Antalya airport, the press service of the Interstate Aviation Committee told TASS.
"The investigation of the accident will be conducted by the Transport Safety Investigation Center of the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure," the statement said, adding that the Interstate Aviation Committee has appointed an authorized representative and advisers to take part in the investigation based on Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation and Russian aviation legislation.
The Turkish side will also provide information on the progress of the investigation.
On Sunday evening, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 of Azimuth Airlines, operating flight A45051 from Sochi, caught fire while landing at Antalya airport. The fire was quickly extinguished and there were no casualties - 89 passengers and 6 crew members on board the aircraft were safely evacuated via inflatable slides.
