MOSCOW, June 25./TASS/. Engine failure may have caused the crash of a Mi-8 helicopter of the National Guard in the Leningrad Region, a source from emergencies services told TASS on Thursday.

"According to preliminary data, the Mi-8 helicopter crashed as a result of engine failure," the source said.

The helicopter crashed in Russia’s Leningrad Region on Thursday, killing all three people on board, the press service of the Northwestern National Guard District told TASS earlier.
