Volume of components for UAVs made in Russia up 80% year-to-date — PM

A separate national project is dedicated to unmanned aerial systems, Mikhail Mishustin said

MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. The volume of components for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) produced in Russia climbed by 80% in the first nine months of this year, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"A separate national project is dedicated to unmanned aerial systems," he said during a government strategic session focused on technological leadership, adding that Russia is "rapidly continuing to build its capabilities within the framework [of this national project]." "The number of components listed in the Russian registry already grew by almost 80% in the first nine months of this year," the premier added.

"The volume of high value-added products being manufactured is increasing, as is the production of devices," he noted.
