NOVO-OGAREVO, September 18. /TASS/. Russia continues to maintain a historic low level of unemployment, President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with leaders of political party factions.

"We still have a historic low level of unemployment, just over 2%," the Russian leader noted.

He stressed that this is "one of the key indicators of the state of the economy and one of the indicators of whether there is a recession or not."
