Brent oil price falls below $72 per barrel, first time since March 24

MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. The price of Brent oil futures for delivery in June 2025 on the London ICE exchange fell below $72 per barrel for the first time since March 24, 2025.

According to the exchange as of 12:49 Moscow time, the price of Brent fell by 3.99% to $71.96 per barrel.

Later, Brent futures accelerated their decline and were trading at $71.85 (-4.14%), while WTI futures for May 2025 delivery fell 4.39% to $68.56 per barrel.
