MOSCOW, March 25. /TASS/. The corporate lending growth rate was close to zero or even slightly below zero in January - February 2025 in Russia, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank Alexey Zabotkin said when speaking in the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament.
"Corporate lending growth rates were near-zero or even slightly subzero during the first two months of 2025. However, this is due to very expressed seasonal nature in government spending at the start of this year, with advance payments for government orders," the banker said.
"We will be able to more confidently speak about further organic dynamics of lending in the current interest rates environment only for April and May data," Zabotkin added.
