NEW DELHI, February 11. /TASS/. Russia will continue oil supplies to the international market irrespective of pressure applied against it, First Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin said at the India Energy Week.
"We are pragmatic, we evaluate our relations, and we will continue supporting the market. We have economically competitive resources and we will continue to be in the market in a pragmatic way," the official said.
Absence of Russian oil in the international market will lead to an imbalance, Sorokin noted. "The market needs it. There is no other oil or energy that can replace it without the escalation of cost. We certainly do not want it. We want the balance between producers and consumers and we will give it to the market, he added.
