Gosha Rubchinskiy terminates his partnership with Yeezy brand

MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy has announced the end of his partnership with American rapper Kanye West's Yeezy, as he plans to focus on the relaunch of his own brand in the near future.

"Our partnership with Yeezy has reached its conclusion. The December drop was last for me. I'm deeply grateful to Ye (Kanye West - TASS) and the entire Yeezy team for a memorable experience – one that will always stay with me. As I move forward, I continue to develop my creative vision, exploring new projects and evolving past ideas in ways that feel true to me. In due time, I will share more about what's next for upcoming Gosha Rubchinskiy brand relaunch," he said on his Telegram channel.

In 2023, West announced that Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy would become the new chief designer of his Yeezy brand. Rubchinskiy has been one of the leading fashion designers in Russia and the world for more than 15 years. He was one of the originators of the Russian Neo-Camp style, which achieved success in the international fashion market between 2012 and 2014.

In 2016, the clothing designer, photographer and brand founder was included in the list of 500 most influential people in the fashion world, according to The Business of Fashion website. He took part in fashion week events in Paris, London, and Pitti Uomo exhibition. He is widely known for collaborations with international brands, including Burberry, Adidas, Levi's, Reebok and Comme des Garcons.
