Pakistan invites Russian companies to explore oil and gas reserves on the country's shelf

According to Deputy Energy Minister Roman Marshavin, Russian companies are ready to study these proposals

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. Pakistan has invited Russian companies to explore oil and gas on the country's shelf, as well as to increase oil recovery, Russian Deputy Energy Minister Roman Marshavin said at a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

"Yesterday we received quite interesting investment proposals from Pakistan in the field of oil and gas exploration on the shelf, increasing oil recovery at mature fields and in oil refining," he said.

"Russian companies are ready to study these proposals. We will continue this discussion with our partners," he added.
