MOSCOW, August 5. /TASS/. The Russian stock market opened on Monday with the MOEX index falling by 1.38% to 2,859.12 points and the RTS index losing 1.38% and reaching 1,050.94 points.

By 10:17 Moscow time, the MOEX index accelerated its decline to 2,854.24 points (-1.54%) and the RTS index reached 1,049.15 points (-1.54%).

At the same time, the yuan amounted to 11.8 rubles (+2.95 kopecks).
