MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. The price of Bitcoin rose by 4.33% during the trading session on Monday to $41,107, exceeding $41,000 for the first time since April 20, 2022, according to Coindesk as of 8:09 a.m. Moscow time (05:09 a.m. GMT).

As of 8:38 a.m. Moscow time (05:38 a.m. GMT), the price of Bitcoin extended gains to 4.68% trading at $41,289.

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency invented in 2008 by an unknown person or a group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without intermediaries.
