Gazprom shipped 1.4 mln metric tons of LNG from Portovaya plant

The gas holding specifies that LNG is being shipped by gas carrier vessels and by tank trucks

MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. Gazprom has already shipped to consumers about 1.4 mln metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the plant in the area of the Portovaya compressor station (CS) in the Leningrad Region, the gas holding said.

"The medium-capacity liquefied natural gas production, storage and shipment plant (LNGP) in the area of the Portovaya CS is operating in Northwestern Russia since September 2022. LNG is being shipped by gas carrier vessels and by tank trucks. About 1.4 mln metric tons of LNG was already shipped to consumers during the period of LNGP operation," the company informed.

Gazprom also continues creating natural gas liquefying facilities as part of the ethane-containing gas processing facility in the area of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad Region.
