Russian government to allocate $113.1 mln more for agribusiness

The Cabinet revised the procedure of fixing the amount of subsidies compensating costs of farmers to produce and sale grain crops

MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. The Russian government will further allocate 10 bln rubles ($113.1 mln) for agricultural producers, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

The Cabinet has revised the procedure of fixing the amount of subsidies compensating costs of farmers to produce and sale grain crops, the Prime Minister said. This will "make it possible to provide more support to agricultural producers cultivating wheat, rye, corn and barley, including the agribusiness in Central Russia, the Volga Region, and Siberia," he noted.

"With the new rules in mind, we plan to provide them with extra funds - ten bln rubles more," the Prime Minister added.
