NOVO-OGAREVO, January 24. /TASS/. Russia is neither banning nor limiting imports of pharmaceuticals, President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with Cabinet members on Tuesday.

"We do not ban imports, do not limit them; we are working with foreign producers traditionally operating on our market," the head of state said.

"Many [foreign manufacturers] continue this work in normal conditions," Putin noted.

"Nevertheless, some of them have suspended the research, as we see," the President said. "It is critical to boost our own efforts in this direction," the Russian leader said. "I hope it will be so," he added.
