Rosneft offers its software to other oil companies

According to Marat Basyrov, the company has developed 23 software products in the field of geology and field development

MOSCOW, October 18. /TASS/. Rosneft proposed to the Russian Ministry of Energy to consider the possibility of using its software by other Russian oil and gas companies, the company’s CEO Igor Sechin wrote to Minister of Energy Nikolay Shulginov, according to deputy director of the company's field development department Marat Basyrov.

According to him, the company has developed 23 software products in the field of geology and field development, 16 of which have been implemented within Rosneft.

"Ten of these products are offered on the market," Basyrov said, adding that Rosneft would be ready to provide software to other companies on the domestic market.
