MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Russia plans to expand the capacity of ports of Ust-Luga, Novorossiysk and the Primorsky Region by about 40 mln metric tons, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said at the Russian Energy Week forum.
"Speaking about transportation, our ports and pipelines remain. By the way, the embargo is not introduced in respect of supplies via pipeline, only in respect of seaborne transportation. Nevertheless, all our logistical centers used at present will continue to be in use and will be expanded. We have plans to expand capacities of Ust-Luga, Novorossiysk and Primorsky Region’s ports by about 40 mln metric tons; a fairly large volume," Novak said.
Russia will expand the capacity of Kozmino oil port in the Far East by 7 mln metric tons to 43 mln metric tons per year, Energy Minister Nikolay Shulginov said earlier.
