ST. PETERSBURG, June 16. /TASS/. TransContainer container operator plans to set up a subsidiary in Japan within the next two months to organize mutual container transportation, head of PJSC TransContainer Viktor Markov said speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Thursday.
"Our company plans to create a wholly-owned subsidiary in Japan within two months, which will provide our service there. At the moment [we do not feel any restrictions], moreover, we have found a very good manager of this subsidiary, who is Japanese and who got down to work with great enthusiasm - to organize business in Russia and mutual container transportation," Markov said.
TransContainer is an intermodal container operator with the largest fleet of containers and fitting platforms in Russia. Delo Group is the only shareholder.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum organized by the Roscongress Foundation is running from June 15 to 18. This year’s forum is dubbed: ‘New Opportunities in a New World’.
