Kazakhstan will identify its export oil as KEBCO — company

Kazakh oil is not subject to anti-Russian sanctions even when delivered by transit via other states, Deputy CEO of KazMunayGas national company Dauren Karabaev noted

NUR-SULTAN, June 7. /TASS/. Kazakhstan exporters will designate their oil supplied for sale as KEBCO (Kazakhstan Export Blend Crude Oil) in shipping documents, Deputy CEO of KazMunayGas national company Dauren Karabaev said at a briefing on Tuesday.

"Starting from June, KazMunayGas and other Kazakh companies decided that KEBCO (Kazakhstan Export Blend Crude Oil) will be indicated in shipping documents, that is, in the certificate of goods origin, in order to stress that this oil is of Kazakh origin," the top manager said

Kazakh oil is not subject to anti-Russian sanctions even when delivered by transit via other states, Karabaev noted. "We are currently implementing awareness-building among oil buyers, international traders and co-financing banks to explain this situation. Basically we have not had any problems with selling our oil so far," he added.
