KALININGRAD, December 9. /TASS/. The Project 11356 frigate series was specifically designed and built for the Indian Navy, CEO of the Russian United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) Andrey Puchkov said.
"Our military products remain in demand primarily owing to the corporation’s expertise in ship design and construction. It is worth noting that our Indian partners, believing in USC’s professionalism, entrusted us with constructing the Series 11356 frigates. This series is custom-built for the Indian Navy," Puchkov said.
Project 11356 "integrates the best of Russian engineering, delivering a versatile and reliable warship, which has advanced combat capabilities against above-water, surface, underwater and aerial targets, while the displacement is relatively small," he added.
