LONDON, March 6. /TASS/. A tug was attacked by unknown projectiles off the coast of Oman, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported.

"UKMTO has received a report of an incident six nautical miles north of Oman in the Strait of Hormuz. A third-party source has reported a tug being hit by unknown projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz," the statement said.

No details of the incident were provided.
