NATO countries are holding Brave Boar exercise in Poland near Russian border

The primary objective of this exercise is to enhance NATO units' operational interoperability under combat conditions

MOSCOW, May 19. /TASS/. The Polish Armed Forces, in collaboration with several NATO partner nations, are currently conducting the tactical exercise Dzielny Dzik 25 (Brave Boar 25) at the Ozysz training range, located approximately 70 kilometers from Russia's Kaliningrad Region, the General Staff of the Polish Army announced.

The primary objective of this exercise is to enhance NATO units' operational interoperability under combat conditions - day and night, regardless of weather or terrain. Daring Boar stands as the largest military event of the year hosted by the 16th Mechanized Division, featuring participation from soldiers representing Lithuania, the United States, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Sweden. According to the Polish General Staff’s social media update on X (formerly Twitter), the drills involve around 3,000 personnel and 600 pieces of military equipment: tanks K2, howitzers K9, fighter aircraft such as F-16, Gripen, and Eurofighter, as well as drones like FlyEye.

The exercise, which is scheduled to continue until the end of May, is not confined solely to the Ozysz range. It also encompasses various training sites across the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
