Pakistan suspends all bilateral agreements with India — National Security Council

The list includes the treaty on the outcome of the third India-Pakistan war

ISLAMABAD, April 24. /TASS/. Pakistan suspends all bilateral agreements with India, including the treaty on the outcome of the third India-Pakistan war, the National Security Council said in response to New Delhi's reaction to the terrorist attack in the Indian part of the disputed region of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Noting the reckless and irresponsible behaviour of India, which disregards international conventions, UN Security Council resolutions and international obligations at will, Pakistan shall exercise the right to hold all bilateral agreements with India including but not limited to the [1972] Simla Agreement in abeyance, till India desists from its manifested behaviour of fomenting terrorism inside Pakistan, trans-national killings, and non-adherence to international law and UN resolutions on Kashmir," the press office of Pakistan's Prime Minister's Office said in a release after the National Security Council meeting.
