MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/ Russia holds "strong cards" in the current situation involving Ukraine, and a settlement will be possible once Moscow decides to play them, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko told the media.
According to Lukashenko, this is not the right moment for Moscow to agree with the US initiative for a temporary truce due to its successes on the battlefield.
"They have strong cards, as [US President Donald] Trump once said, in their hands. If they hold onto these aces until the right moment and then play them to win this card game, we will ultimately see an agreement reached," the Belarusian president asserted.
