Ukrainians lead in foreign crime rates in Poland — police

In total, foreigners committed 16,437 crimes in Poland last year, 857 fewer than in 2023, according to the police report

MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. Ukrainian citizens ranked first in the number of crimes committed by foreigners in Poland last year, the Main Directorate of the Polish Police said.

It said Ukrainians violated the law 9,753 times in 2024. The police mostly detained them for drunk driving — 2,943 cases. Ukrainians were arrested 930 times for theft and 461 times for fraud.

Georgians were second in terms of crimes, with 1,780 people arrested. 472 cases were related to theft, 334 — to drunk driving, 200 — to drug possession.
