According to the channel, the team "didn’t expect his wins to be anywhere near where the numbers are tonight."

The channel pointed out that Trump's team felt "confident" when the polls first started.

The US held its general election on November 5, with voters electing the president, one-third of the Senate, the entire House of Representatives, and governors in 11 states and two territories. Donald Trump ran for president as the Republican candidate, with Kamala Harris representing the Democratic Party. Trump served as the 45th US president from 2017 to 2021, losing to Joe Biden in the 2020 election. Harris has served as vice president since January 2021.
