WASHINGTON, January 4. /TASS/. The package of the US military aid to Ukraine announced on December 27, 2023 was the last one to be provided before allocation of extra funds by Congress, Coordinator for Strategic Communications of the US National Security Council John Kirby said at the regular briefing.

"We have given now to Ukraine the last security assistance package that we have funds to support," the high-ranking official said. "We've got to get support from Congress so we can continue to do that," he noted.

Washington allocated to Ukraine the $250 mln military aid package to be the last one in 2023, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on December 27, 2023.
