VOSTOCHNY SPACEPORT, April 12. /TASS/. Belarus will stand by Russia in any situation, President Alexander Lukashenko said on Tuesday at talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin at the Vostochny spaceport site in the Amur region.
"You can count on the Belarusians. Know that no matter what the situation is, you can count on us, and the Russians can count on us, we will always be there, no matter how the situation develops," Lukashenko said.
"The Far East is distant, but it's ours. We, unlike the current republics, have preserved this unity and are determined to strengthen it," he added.
Lukashenko also noted that Belarus "has something to offer Russia".
