Russian figure skater Mark Kondatyuk listed on Ukraine’s database of unwanted persons

Mark Kondratyuk is the 2022 European and Russian champion, as well as the bronze medalist in the team competition at the Beijing Olympics

MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Mark Kondratyuk, the 2022 European figure skating champion, has been added to the database of Ukraine’s Mirotvorets (or Peacekeeper) extremist website, according to data obtained by TASS.

Kondratyuk is accused, among other things, of attempting to undermine Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The figure skater is 22 years old. He is the 2022 European and Russian champion, as well as the bronze medalist in the team competition at the Beijing Olympics after the results were revised due to the Kamila Valieva case.

The infamous Mirotvorets website was launched in 2014 in order to identify those who allegedly pose a threat to Ukraine’s national security, and publish their personal data. Over the years, it has collected the personal information of journalists, artists and politicians who visited Crimea and Donbass or drew criticism from the site’s administrators for some other reason.
