Roscosmos withdraws six rockets from OneWeb project

They will be used for launches under the federal program, as well as in the interests of other customers

MOSCOW, March 22. /TASS/. Roscosmos will withdraw six Soyuz launch vehicles from the OneWeb launch program for UK communications satellites, head of Roscosmos press service Dmitry Strugovets told reporters.

"Roscosmos is withdrawing six launch vehicles paid for by a foreign customer from the OneWeb project," he said.

According to Strugovets, they will be used for launches under the federal program, as well as in the interests of other customers.

Earlier, Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin instructed to cancel preparations for the launch of OneWeb satellites from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
