Commandoes block gunman at house in North Caucasus’ Dagestan

MAKHACHKALA, June 26, /ITAR-TASS/. Russian commandoes are storming a house where a gunman was blocked in North Caucasus’ Dagestani city of Derbent, a source in republican law enforcement agencies told Itar-Tass.

“According to preliminary reports, the gunman was blocked. The shootout is in progress. Details are being specified,” the source said.

An anti-terrorist operation regime was introduced at 11pm Moscow time (8pm BST) on Wednesday in the city of Derbent. Details are not reported.
