MOSCOW, January 1. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military’s shelling attack on civilian facilities in Donetsk on New Year’s night was "a terrorist atrocity," Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

"The Kiev regime shelled Donetsk on New Year’s night. Civilian facilities came under fire once again. The attack caused casualties. It’s nothing but a terrorist atrocity," she wrote on Telegram.

According to media reports, the Ukrainian army’s shelling attack on downtown Donetsk killed four people and left another 14 wounded.
