MOSCOW, May 26. /TASS/. Inviting foreign journalists to visit the site of the Ukrainian army's strike on a college in Starobelsk was a step toward countering the lies the West regularly spreads, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters on the sidelines of the International Security Forum.

She stressed that Russia will continue to inform the international community about Kiev's crimes.

TASS has compiled key statements from the Foreign Ministry spokeswoman.

Ukraine apparently happy with Starobelsk school hit

Ukrainian media were literally "beaming with joy" over Kiev's strike on teens at the college in Starobelsk: "Read what Ukrainian media are saying, listen to what their leaders at all levels have been declaring: they were literally beaming with joy over having struck the children."

Ukrainian media mocked the victims of the tragedy: "Just look at this: not only did they target the college, but then they went on to mock the situation. It wasn't just silent indifference, but outright mockery."

Foreign journalists invited to Starobelsk

Inviting foreign journalists to visit the site of the Ukrainian strike on the college in Starobelsk was a step toward countering the lies the West regularly spreads: "This trip was organized solely to provide the opportunity to visit this site as quickly and safely as possible, so that people could see these ruins, which had not yet cooled from the bodies of children. They were still being carried out of there. This was necessary so that no one could say that this never happened at all."

The Ukrainian terrorist attack and the West’s irresponsible reaction to this crime have sparked outrage not only in Russia but around the world: "Representatives of Western countries, the permanent envoys of Western countries to the UN, who are experienced diplomats and should be held accountable for their words, did not just express doubt, but essentially accused our country of fabricating this terrorist attack carried out by the Kiev regime. <…> This caused outrage and public anger not only in our country, but around the world."

Russia will continue to inform the international community about the crimes committed by Kiev: "We will continue to keep the international community updated on the crimes of the Kiev regime, and we will do everything necessary to ensure this. We will continue to inform other countries; as you have seen, we have already issued a public statement. Countries will also be briefed through diplomatic channels."

Western funding for Kiev

The funds allocated to finance Kiev by international institutions will never be repaid: "Even from the perspective of economic indicators, which have always been the top priority for these financial institutions, this money is going down the drain, into a void; it will never be returned. I won’t even mention that it will never recoup its costs."

A significant portion of the foreign aid allocated to the Kiev regime goes directly toward committing terrorist crimes: "A large part of the funds goes directly to the military needs of the Kiev junta and the commission of terrorist crimes. Meanwhile, they constantly hide behind the guise of so-called economic aid."

Western colonialism

Under the pretext of transferring information technology on exploitative terms, the West will strip developing countries of their natural resources: "Finished IT products will further entrench developing countries in their dependency, and on top of that, they will have to hand over their natural resources in exchange."

ICC activities

The International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutes only politicians whom the West finds unsuitable, often on the basis of race: "It seems that the ICC is tasked with preventing the prosecution of the so-called global minority, namely the leaders of Western states, while simultaneously creating a lasting impression in the eyes of the international community that African political figures are involved in the gravest international crimes simply because of their race."
