Ukraine launches 54 artillery attacks on Russia’s Kursk Region in past day — governor

A national of Saint Kitts and Nevis was killed in an attack on a motor road near the village of Bolshoye Soldatskoye, Alexander Khinshtein said

KURSK, March 12. /TASS/. Over the past day, Ukrainian troops launched 27 drones on the bordering Russian region of Kursk as they also used artillery against evacuated areas there 54 times, Governor Alexander Khinshtein said.

"Between 9:00 a.m. (6:00 a.m. GMT) on March 11 and 7:00 a.m. (4:00 a.m. GMT) on March 12, 27 enemy drones of various types were downed. The enemy used artillery against evacuated areas as many as 54 times. Also, drones attacked our territory, dropping explosives, seven times," the official wrote on his channel on Max.

A national of Saint Kitts and Nevis was killed in an attack on a motor road near the village of Bolshoye Soldatskoye, the governor added.

No damage to infrastructure from Wednesday’s attacks by Ukrainian troops has been reported though, according to Khinshtein.
