DONETSK, August 13. /TASS/. The primary military engagements in Velikaya Novosyolka, located in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), have recently intensified around the village of Aleksandrograd, situated on the border with Dnepropetrovsk Region, according to DPR Head Denis Pushilin, who was speaking on the Soloviev Live channel.
Addressing the overall situation on the frontlines, Pushilin stated, "Currently, the overall situation is fully under the control of our units across nearly every sector. This includes Velikaya Novosyolka, where the fiercest battles are now centered in the Aleksandrograd area - very close to the border of the Dnepropetrovsk Region."
He highlighted notable progress by Russian forces in this sector. Following the liberation of Chasov Yar, Russian troops have continued their advance, although challenging terrain has allowed Ukrainian forces to mount resistance. In the Krasny Liman region, Russian forces have secured more advantageous positions, strengthening their strategic hold.
Earlier, Pushilin reported that fighting in Velikaya Novosyolka is occurring either within the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk Region or near its border.
