Special op is most serious test Russia facing over past 30 years — Kalashnikov CEO

According to Alan Lushnikov, it is still too early to assess the results of the company’s work during the special military operation

MOSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. The special military operation in Ukraine has been the most serious test for Russia over the past 30 years, CEO of Kalashnikov Group Alan Lushnikov said in an interview with TASS Director General Andrey Kondrashov.

According to him, it is still too early to assess the results of the company’s work during the special military operation, as hostilities have not yet ended.

"I think it’s too early to sum up (the results of this work - TASS), because we are still facing what is perhaps the most serious challenge our country has faced over the past 30 years. I grew up at a time when we all thought the era of major wars and conflicts was over, that everything had settled down, and that we had nothing left to fight for. <…> As it turned out, we were all wrong, and an era of great upheaval has begun. Therefore, I believe it’s definitely too early to draw any conclusions before this period is over," Lushnikov said.
