Russian Army approaches Grigorovka in Donbass region to almost 1 km — expert

LUGANSK, April 24. /TASS/. Russian forces are currently establishing new footholds near Grigorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) after advancing to a distance of almost 1 km of the village, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"Having destroyed the enemy’s line of defense east of Grigorovka in the DPR and having made a dash, Russian fighters approached the village to a distance of around 800 meters. Our troops are currently consolidating their positions and building on their successes in this sector of the line of engagement," he explained.

Russian forces also managed to expand the zone of control west of Belogorovka in the neighboring Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), Marochko added.
