BELGOROD, March 3. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military attacked six districts of Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region with 50 munitions and 48 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the past 24 hours, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel on Monday.
"In the Volokonovsky district, the settlement of Tishanka came under two bombardments by five munitions, which damaged a private house, an outbuilding, a car, a social facility and an electricity transmission line. Emergency response teams have restored electric power supply in seven populated areas," the governor said, adding that recovery work continued in the village of Tishanka.
During the last 24-hour period, the Ukrainian military launched 15 explosive drones on the Shebekinsky district, destroying two private houses and an outbuilding. The Krasnoyaruzhsky district came under an attack by 28 munitions and 11 Ukrainian UAVs, which damaged an inactive social facility, he specified.
The Ukrainian military fired 14 munitions and launched five UAVs on the Belgorodsky district. In the village of Bessonovka, a drone attack damaged an electricity transmission line and power supply is partially unavailable in that community. The Valuisky district was attacked by 13 Ukrainian UAVs, with an outbuilding damaged in the attack, he said.
"In the Graivoronsky municipal district, three artillery shells were fired in one bombardment and four drones were launched in an attack on the settlement of Gorkovsky and the villages of Novostroyevka-Vtoraya and Spodaryushino. Also, the latest information indicates that overnight to March 2 explosives dropped from a drone destroyed three houses in the settlement of Gorkovsky," the governor said.
