MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. No sequence has been present thus far to organize the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at the briefing.

"No sequence has been established thus far, I reiterate, we should arm ourselves with patience," Peskov told reporters.

Donald Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to meet with Vladimir Putin. He spoke about it both during the election campaign in the fall of 2024 and immediately after his inauguration on January 20.

The last time Putin and Trump saw each other during the previous presidential term of the US leader: in late June 2019 at the G20 summit in Osaka, Japan.
