Russian delegation during Putin’s visit to Kazakhstan to include nearly entire cabinet

"It means that the talks will address various issues on the bilateral agenda," Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov pointed out

MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. Russia’s official delegation that will accompany President Vladimir Putin on his state visit to Kazakhstan on November 27 and 28 will include nearly all government members to cover all items on the talks’ agenda, Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov said.

"Our delegation will include key ministers, practical all government members," he said. "It means that the talks will address various issues on the bilateral agenda. It is planned to exchange views on further steps in the development of bilateral relations."

According to Ushakov, among the delegation members will be Deputy Prime Ministers Alexander Novak and Alexey Overchuk, Ministers of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Transport Roman Starovoit, Minister of Construction Irek Faizullin, Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev, Justice Minister Konstantin Chiuchenko, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Dmitry Shugayev, Director of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) Sergey Dabkvert, Director of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor) Anna Popova, and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on November 27 and 28. Putin’s previous official visit to Kazakhstan took place in November 2023. In July 2024, the Russian leader took part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Astana.
