Russian forces strike Ukrainian troops, equipment near border with Belgorod Region

As the ministry reported on March 20, Russian forces fully cleared the community of Kozinka of the remnants of Ukrainian militants in the borderline Belgorod Region

MOSCOW, March 21. /TASS/. Russia’s Battlegroup West delivered pre-emptive strikes against temporary deployment sites, personnel and military hardware of Ukrainian subversive/reconnaissance groups in the border area near the Belgorod Region, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Thursday.

"The Defense Ministry released video clips showing the destruction of temporary deployment sites, manpower and equipment of Ukrainian subversive/reconnaissance groups in pre-emptive strikes by aircraft and artillery of the Battlegroup West in the Belgorod Region border area," the ministry said in a statement.

As the ministry reported on March 20, Russian forces fully cleared the community of Kozinka of the remnants of Ukrainian militants in the borderline Belgorod Region.

"In the Belgorod direction, Russian units have fully cleared the settlement of Kozinka of the remnants of Ukrainian militants and continue measures to prevent Ukrainian subversive/reconnaissance groups from penetrating the border area," the ministry said in a statement.

The Ukrainian military lost roughly 650 militants and 2 Czech-made Vampire rocket launchers in the Belgorod direction lately, the ministry reported.
