MOSCOW, March 15. /TASS/. The President of Mozambique Filipe Nyusi plans to attend the Russia-Africa summit to be held in July in St. Petersburg, the country’s envoy to Moscow Jose Mateus Muaria Katupha told TASS on Wednesday.
"I hope that the president of my country will participate in the summit, just as he did in 2019. So far everything indicates that he will come," he said.
The diplomat pointed out that Mozambique planned to take part in the summit at the governmental level as well. "I hope that [Mozambique's participation in the summit] will also take place on a cultural and scientific level. Perhaps, directors of various universities in Mozambique will attend, as well as businessmen," he added.
