The Consulate-General of Russia in Houston continued normal operations, despite blocking of bank accounts

NEW YORK, April 25. /TASS/. US business entities with ties in Russia do not want to lose the Russian market and are now reviewing the most optimal forms of operations in the environment of sanctions, Russian Consul-General in Houston Alexander Zakharov told TASS on Monday.

"[US] business entities tied with operations in Russia do not want to lose a promising, receptive market, and this is felt," the diplomat said. "However, they take a pause now; they want to understand how real is to work in the environment of sanctions and what most optimal forms of work are available for that," Zakharov said.

The Consulate-General of Russia in Houston continued normal operations, despite blocking of bank accounts, he added.
