Putin-Zelensky meeting possible after agreeing document at talks — Kremlin spokesman

Dmitry Peskov didn't give a response whether it can be said that the negotiating process between Russia and Ukraine is under a threat

MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Moscow does not deny a possibility of a meeting between Russian and Ukrainian Presidents, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky but warns that it can be organized only after the countries’ delegations to the talks agree a corresponding document, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday, commenting on Zelensky’s words that his meeting with Putin may not take place.

"Nothing has change for us on this matter: we do not deny a possibility of a meeting for our president, but we repeat it once again that such a meeting is only possible after the text of a document is agreed," he said.

When asked whether it can be said that the negotiating process between Russia and Ukraine is under a threat, Peskov said, "We still prefer not to share this information."
