Lavrov, Makei discuss a number of bilateral issues over the phone — Foreign Ministry

The conversation was initiated by Minsk

MOSCOW, June 24. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makei discussed over the phone on Thursday a number of bilateral issues as a follow-up to the talks held in Moscow.

"The discussion of a number of bilateral issues raised at the talks during Vladimir Makei’s visit to Moscow on June 17-18 continued," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The conversation was initiated by Minsk.

The top Russian and Belarusian diplomats held talks in Moscow on June 18. The commitment to tackling the tasks set by the two countries’ presidents was reaffirmed at the meeting.
