MOSCOW, February 8. /TASS/. Russia has expelled a number of foreign diplomats due to the actions by foreign diplomatic missions during the unlawful rallies, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday, adding that Russia will not put up with this behavior.

"The expulsion of diplomats that took place the day before was a consequence of the actions taken by foreign missions in Moscow during the unlawful rallies. Russia has clearly demonstrated that it will not put up with this," he said.

On Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry informed that Russia is declaring a Swedish, a Polish and a German diplomat personae non gratae for taking part in unlawful rallies in Moscow and St. Petersburg on January 23. Representatives of the Swedish, Polish and German embassies were summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, with Russia expressing its protest over the incident.
