Emergency introduced in Kirzhach district of Vladimir Region after explosion

MOSCOW, April 22. /TASS/. An emergency has been introduced in the Kirzhach district of the Vladimir Region after an explosion, the emergency situations warning service has said.

"A state of emergency has been declared on the territory of the Kirzhach district of the Vladimir Region," the news release says.

Earlier, Governor of the Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeyev said that there was an explosion in the Kirzhach district. Emergency response services are working on the site. The residents of two communities - Barsovo and Mirny - are being evacuated.

Barsovo is located 4 km from Pershino and 8 km from the district center of Kirzhach. It has a population of 700.
