MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. The Novy Urengoy Airport suspends aircraft arrivals and departures after a plane incident, the airport said on its Telegram channel.

"The Novy Urengoy Airport is temporarily closed for aircraft arrivals and departures after the An-12 cargo aircraft had a skid-off," the airport said.

The An-12 airplane turned to its side when landing in the Novy Urengoy Airport, the municipal dispatching service informed earlier.

Eight crewmembers were on board. The aircraft left main landing gear broke down, the Ural Office of Transport Prosecutor said. No passengers or hazardous cargo were onboard.
