MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. Investigators have identified the alleged accomplice of the explosion in the Alye Parusa residential compound in Moscow, which killed Armen Sarkisyan, head of the Boxing Federation of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), law enforcement officers told TASS, adding that he has been placed on the wanted list.
"In the course of operational and search activities related to the murder of two or more persons (Article 105 of the Russian Criminal Code), the alleged accomplice was identified and placed on the federal wanted list," the agency source said.
Security agencies gave no other details. The investigation is still underway.
The explosion at the Alye Parusa residential compound took place on the morning of February 3. Preliminary reports suggest that the attack targeted Armen Sarkisyan, the president of the Boxing Federation of the Donetsk People’s Republic. He was hospitalized in serious condition but later succumbed to his injuries. Additionally, another person was killed, and two others suffered wounds.
