Ukrainian shelling attacks kill 117 LPR civilians since February — authorities

The death toll includes seven children

LUGANSK, November 3. /TASS/. A total of 117 civilians, including seven children, have been killed by Ukrainian shelling attacks on the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) since February, the republic’s mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes said on Thursday.

"A total of 117 people have been killed and 340 wounded [since February]," the mission said on its Telegram channel.

The death toll includes seven children. A total of 28 minors received injuries of varying degrees.

According to the mission, some 1,240 shelling attacks targeting the republic’s territory occurred in the reported period. They involved over 10,000 projectiles of various calibers, including 426 HIMARS rockets, 37 Tochka-U tactical ballistic missiles, 2,575 rockets for Grad, Uragan and Smerch multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) and 100 NATO-standard 155mm artillery shells.

As a result, a total of 2,826 dwellings in 76 residential areas were damaged, as well as 301 social infrastructure facilities, including 74 educational institutions and 14 healthcare facilities.
