Russia must boost grain exports to around $20 bln by 2030 — Agroexport

Meat exports are expected to more than double, reaching around $5 bln

MOSCOW, October 10. /TASS/. By 2030, Russia aims to increase its grain exports by 14% compared with 2024, reaching nearly $20 bln, and its exports of oil and fat products - by 14% to $10 bln, Head of the Federal Center Agroexport Ilya Ilyushin said.

"The Russian President has set a goal to achieve $55.2 bln in exports by 2030, representing a 28% increase compared with 2024. We must ensure growth across all major product categories," Ilyushin said.

Specifically, by 2030, grain exports are projected to rise by 14% compared with 2024 to around $20 bln, and oil and fat product exports - by 14% to $10 bln. Meat exports are expected to more than double, reaching around $5 bln; confectionery exports are projected to grow by 50%, approaching $3 bln; processed food exports are set to increase by 40% to $6.6 bln; fish and seafood exports are anticipated to grow by one-third to $6.8 bln; and dairy product exports are forecast to rise by 40% to $700 mln, Ilyushin specified.

Regarding regional exports, Ilyushin noted that in January-September 2025, the highest growth rates were recorded in the Republic of Crimea, as well as in the Irkutsk, Leningrad, and Yaroslavl regions. In total, 29 Russian regions expanded the geographic reach of their shipments.

"It is essential to maintain the successes achieved and strengthen efforts toward product and country diversification in the agrarian exports of the regions," he emphasized.
